An Aussie’s answer to sharia law

Australian PM Gillard

Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told on Wednesday to get out of Australia , as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks.

Separately, Gillard angered some Australian Muslims on Wednesday by saying she supported spy agencies monitoring the nation’s mosques.

  1. True courage is a rare commodity in a politician!

    Kind of an ironic inverse
to ‘immigrants, not Australians must adapt. (at least from the aborigine standpoint)

yes, read that story earlier, BB, and was wondering how to include that article into this post and as usual, you found a way for it 🙂

My only knowledge of the Aussies is ‘Crocodile Dundee’ of course and a cousin
who has lived there for the last 30 years. We had a young lady sportscaster on our
local TV news who was Australian and IMO they talk funny. A local team were
the Cougars which she pronounced ‘KquiuuuGArs’. First couple of weeks I thought
it was some sort of viral disease…:)

a couple of other movies from down under are “Quigley down under” and “A man from Snowy mountain” that i saw that were really good movies also.

and Australia has been a good ally to the U.S. too. i’d rank them right up there with Great Britain in terms of friendly nations. of course, that is just a politically biased opinion.

  6. You may want to read this sometime:

    “Islam is Slavery”

I have never been to Australia. My great grandfather came from Ireland and spent 13 years in Australia herding sheep and prospecting for gold. He later settled in the United States.
